The powerful picture in the slide show was the one that he left home,
because he had to go to the army, and his mom is crying because she don't want her baby to go.
The images are telling the story by detailing every little thing that is happening in the picture, and the way the pictures are in a order it is showing us the way hes life is going.
I think that the videos are better than the slide show because there are actual talking and he is telling us how the story really went in his life.
For me Ira and his dad looked liked they had a bond together, he looks like he had his little fun time at home at lease he spend some time with the family.
